Controlled expressions of a stable voice.
Arcadia derivatives are not separate characters. They are culturally, tonally or socially modulated expressions of a source identity — designed to test how much a synthetic voice can move before it stops feeling like itself.
Derivative does not mean replacement.
A derivative preserves a recognizable core while shifting selected dimensions: rhythm, tonal color, social distance, narrative energy or emotional resonance.
The question is not whether a voice can imitate a region or accent. The question is whether a source identity can remain stable while moving through different linguistic and cultural conditions.
JESPER-DE remains the source.
The current public derivative set focuses on a small number of carefully selected cultural drift spaces. Basque and Catalan remain useful internal laboratory tests, but the public presentation is built around broader and more legible identity movements.
Six controlled drift spaces.
Mid-Atlantic
A refined narrative expression with international distance, controlled authority and low regional friction. Mid-Atlantic JESPER is treated as a derivative, not the original source.
Primary movement: narrative neutrality, prestige, stable longform listening.
Castellano
A controlled Iberian tonal shift with precise articulation, restrained melody and refined regional color. The goal is not strong local accent, but cultivated tonal placement.
Primary movement: tonal precision, articulation control, measured resonance.
ElevenLabs Prompt + Vectors:
Calm educated male voice with restrained Castellano tonal character and controlled Iberian articulation. Clear consonants, elegant pacing and refined rhythmic precision. Slight tonal brightness with composed emotional restraint and stable narrative distance.

A socially active derivative with subtle melodic movement and closer conversational presence. This drift space is especially useful because it can quickly destabilize the perceived source identity.
Primary movement: social proximity, melodic motion, conversational energy.
ElevenLabs Prompt + Vectors:
Calm educated male voice with subtle contemporary Rioplatense tonal character and internationally clear pronunciation. Warm controlled midrange, soft precise articulation and gentle melodic phrasing. Slightly closer and more human social presence while remaining composed and intelligent.

Primary movement: emotional resonance, reflective tone, soft cultural color.

Rioplatense drift shows why moderation matters.
Initial Rioplatense tests introduced too much social proximity and melodic movement. The voice remained partly recognizable, but began to feel like a different person. Reducing those values restored the JESPER core while keeping a subtle regional movement.
From regional character back to source stability.
The working prompt does not ask for a strong accent. It asks for controlled melodic phrasing, restrained social closeness and preserved composure.
VECTOR ADJUSTMENT: melodic_motion: -10 social_proximity: -8 breathiness: -4 DISTILLED PROMPT: Restrained melodic phrasing, composed social distance, minimal breath texture, while preserving the calm core identity.
Source identity under controlled drift.
Each sample uses the same reference text, normalized loudness and comparable pacing. The goal is not accent performance, but observation of identity continuity under tonal, social and linguistic movement.
JESPER-DE
Stable German source profile with restrained melodic behavior, controlled articulation and high narrative continuity.
Mid-Atlantic
International narrative derivative with restrained prestige tonality and stable longform pacing.
Castellano
Refined Iberian tonal placement with precise articulation and restrained rhythmic movement.
Colombian
Warm clarity profile with soft conversational intelligibility and stable emotional balance.
Mexican
Accessible narrative derivative with relaxed pacing, balanced warmth and broad intelligibility.
Rioplatense
Subtle social drift with increased melodic movement and closer conversational presence.
Galician
Reflective emotional derivative with soft resonance, restrained melancholy and preserved continuity.
The final test is not regional accuracy. It is identity plausibility.
A derivative can be technically impressive and still fail as a continuation of the source identity. Human listening remains necessary to decide whether the voice still feels connected to its source or has crossed into replacement.
